Trails in Norway

Norway's routes run from the Oslofjord to the Arctic coast. In Vestland, the Kinsarvik Hardangervidda Trek climbs from the Hardangerfjord up Husedalen, past a series of waterfalls, onto the Hardangervidda plateau. It is a long, extreme day above 1,200 m. In the north, the Senja Island Scenic Drive in Troms follows the fjords and steep peaks of Norway's second-largest island.

Farther north, the Vestre Jakobselv to Berlevåg Drive crosses Finnmark's Varanger region to a small fishing village on the Barents Sea. The Tynset to Koppang Østerdalen Drive follows the Glomma river through the forests of Innlandet. Around Oslo, the Dikemark to Kjos Forest Walk and the Ski to Ås Forest Walk cover the forested hills of Akershus, and a longer road trip links Oslo with Gedser in Denmark.
