Geospatial Data & GPS Accuracy
GPX tracks, map overlays, and real-time mobile GPS tracking logs can contain significant inaccuracies. Satellite imagery may be outdated, and GPS drift from physical device limitations can lead to errors of several meters. Never follow a GPS line blindly over a cliff or into an unfordable river. Always use your eyes and common sense.
Dynamic Conditions
Trails are not static. A "Level 2" trail can become a "Level 5" after a single storm. Landslides, washouts, fallen trees, and seasonal closures are frequent in expedition environments. TrailX does not provide real-time condition monitoring.
Self-Reliance
You are responsible for your own safety, your vehicle, and your passengers. Ensure you have proper recovery gear, communications (Satellite messenger/Ham radio), medical supplies, and mechanical knowledge before attempting any route indexed here.
Environmental & Legal Compliance
Users must respect all local laws, permits, and "Tread Lightly" principles. Air Microservices LLC and TrailX do not grant permission to cross private property or restricted areas. Obtaining legal access is the sole responsibility of the user.
