Off-roading and expedition travel are inherently dangerous activities.
The information provided on TrailX is for technical reference and archival purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional training, experienced judgment, or real-time situational awareness.
Geospatial Data Accuracy
GPX tracks and map overlays can be inaccurate. Satellite imagery may be outdated, and GPS drift can lead to errors of several meters. Never follow a GPS line blindly over a cliff or into a river. Always use your eyes and common sense.
Dynamic Conditions
Trails are not static. A "Level 2" trail can become a "Level 5" after a single storm. Landslides, washouts, fallen trees, and seasonal closures are frequent in expedition environments. TrailX does not provide real-time condition monitoring.
Self-Reliance
You are responsible for your own safety, your vehicle, and your passengers. Ensure you have proper recovery gear, communications (Satellite messenger/Ham radio), medical supplies, and mechanical knowledge before attempting any route indexed here.
Environmental & Legal Compliance
Users must respect all local laws, permits, and "Tread Lightly" principles. TrailX does not grant permission to cross private property or restricted areas. Obtaining legal access is the sole responsibility of the user.
