Trails in Odisha

Odisha's routes are mostly road journeys across the state's coastal plain and the low hills of its mineral-rich north. The Chandikhol to Konark - Coastal Drive runs 90 km toward the Sun Temple near the Bay of Bengal, and the Hirakud to Bhubaneswar Drive crosses the state for 303 km from the Mahanadi reservoir to the capital.

Inland, the Kendujhargarh to Angul - Brahmani Corridor follows the Brahmani River valley through forested plateau country, while routes around Barbil and Sundargarh trace the iron-ore haul roads bordering the Saranda forest. For cyclists, the Panchalingeswar Temple Ride climbs 10 km into the Nilagiri hills of Balasore district to a stream-side Shiva shrine, and the Bhubaneswar City Cycle Ride offers an easy loop through the temple city.
