Nechisar National Park: Bridge of God to the Nechisar Plains

Added on 14 Oct 2026
Logged by @trailx

The main wildlife circuit in Nechisar National Park runs from the forest near Arba Minch across the Bridge of God, the strip of land between Lake Abaya and Lake Chamo, onto the park's golden grass plains. Zebra, gazelle and the endangered Swayne's hartebeest graze the plains, and lion, leopard and hyena are present but rarely seen, with views over both lakes.
