Arba Minch to the Forty Springs Walk

Added on 14 Oct 2026
Logged by @trailx

A walk from Arba Minch down to the Forty Springs, the groundwater springs in the forest at the foot of the escarpment that give the town its name ('arba minch' means forty springs in Amharic). The springs lie on the park road about 3 km inside the main entrance of Nechisar National Park and still supply the town's water.
