Trail Profile

General Instructions

About 9-10 km one way along the ridge; allow 5-6 hours return or arrange a pick-up. The altitude is 3,000-3,200 m, so acclimatise first. Stay within Addis Ababa: the land north of the ridge is in Oromia's North Shewa zone, which the US advisory lists as do not travel.
