General Instructions

About 63 km one way via the Addis-Adama expressway; 1-1.5 hours each way. Stay on the expressway and in Bishoftu town: UK FCDO advice excludes the expressway corridor and Bishoftu from its warnings for East Shewa, and the US advisory exempts Bishoftu from its Oromia warning, but the surrounding rural areas are covered by both.
