NH44 Pench Corridor: Seoni to Khawasa
The stretch of the Nagpur-Jabalpur highway (NH44) between Seoni and Khawasa, which runs between the forests of the Pench Tiger Reserve and the wider Kanha-Pench landscape. The highway has dedicated animal underpasses so wildlife can cross beneath the road. Khawasa is the bus stop for the Turia gate of Pench, the setting of Kipling's Jungle Book stories.
