Msemrir to Tamtattouchte Piste (Dades-Todra Link)

Added on 14 Oct 2026
Logged by @trailx

The direct link between the upper Dades and Todra valleys, used to drive a loop between the two gorges. Paving has advanced from both ends, but a central section of about 24 km still follows a 4x4 track, partly in a wadi bed, across high stony plateaus with nomad camps.

General Instructions

About 45 km; allow 2.5-3.5 hours. A 4x4 with good clearance is needed for the unpaved centre. Do not attempt after rain or snow, when the wadi section can flood or freeze. Carry water and fuel up in Boumalne or Tinghir.
