Jbel El Kelaa from Chefchaouen
Jbel El Kelaa is the peak that rises directly behind Chefchaouen. The path climbs from the Ras el Ma spring at the top of the medina, below the Spanish Mosque, then up through pine forest and rocky slopes to a saddle and a loosely marked trail to the summit, with views over the blue town and the Rif.
