Akchour Waterfalls Trail

Added on 14 Oct 2026
Logged by @trailx

From the road end at Akchour a path follows the Oued Kelaa upstream into Talassemtane National Park, passing riverside cafes and pools to the Petite Cascade and then on through the limestone gorge to the Grande Cascade. It shares its start with the walk to God's Bridge, and the two are often combined into a full day.

General Instructions

About 5 km one way to the Grande Cascade; the lower falls take about an hour and the upper falls a further hour or more. The path includes steep scrambles and river crossings, so wear shoes that can get wet. Avoid after heavy rain; summer weekends are very busy.
