Imlil to Tacheddirt via Tizi n'Tamatert
A mule path climbs east from Imlil through walnut groves and terraced fields to the Tizi n'Tamatert pass at about 2,270 m, then descends into the Imenane valley and follows it up to Tacheddirt, one of the highest villages in the Toubkal area. Many walkers return to Imlil via the hamlets of Ouaneskra and Tighourine to make a circular day.

About 12 km one way by the mapped path and track (operators quote around 8 km as the crow flies); the climb to the pass takes just under 2 hours. Best from April to June and September to November; snow can lie on the pass in winter. Carry water and sun protection.
