Pla d'Adet (1,680 m) is one of the great Tour de France climbs. The classic side starts in Saint-Lary-Soulan: 10.3 km at an average 8.3%, gaining 825 m. Short and steep, on the same mountainside as the Portet. First Tour appearance: 1974 (11 finishes). Raymond Poulidor won the first finish in 1974.
