Orkhon Valley Waterfall Route
From Kharkhorin up the Orkhon Valley, part of the UNESCO Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape (inscribed 2004), to the Orkhon Waterfall (Ulaan Tsutgalan), which drops about 20–24 m over old lava flows. The approach is on very rocky tracks through river meadows dotted with nomad camps; the falls only run after the first good summer rains.
