Cirque de Jaffar Piste: Midelt to Tounfite
An unpaved mountain piste west from Midelt across the flanks of Jbel Ayachi to the Cirque de Jaffar, a natural amphitheatre of eroded cliffs, then on to Tounfite. The climb between the cirque and Midelt has switchbacks and drop-offs and is the technical part.

General Instructions
About 60-67 km of piste; allow 3-4 hours. A normal-sized 4x4 can pass slowly; summer is the best season and snow closes it in winter. Do not attempt after rain, when wadis flood and the clay surface becomes slippery.
