Plateau de Beille (1,780 m) is one of the great Tour de France climbs. The classic side starts in Les Cabannes: 15.8 km at an average 7.9%, gaining 1,255 m. Four stage winners here went on to win the Tour. First Tour appearance: 1998 (7 finishes). Marco Pantani won the first finish in 1998.
