A walk along Golden Whip Stream at the foot of the sandstone pillars of Zhangjiajie, the landscape that inspired the floating mountains of Avatar. From the forest park entrance, a paved path follows the clear stream through the gorge past Golden Whip Rock to Water Winding Four Gates, with towers of quartz sandstone rising hundreds of metres on both sides. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park is part of the Wulingyuan Scenic and Historic Interest Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
