Buenos Aires to Miramar via Villa Gesell: The Atlantic Coast Road
South from Buenos Aires across the flat pampa on Ruta 2 and Ruta 11 to the Atlantic, then down the coast through the dune resort of Villa Gesell and Mar del Plata to Miramar. This was the first stretch of Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado's 1952 journey on the Norton La Poderosa II: they left Buenos Aires on 4 January and stopped in Villa Gesell and Miramar, where Ernesto's girlfriend Chichina was spending the summer.
